Privacy Policy — ChartPro

ChartPro is made by ASGILAB. This page explains what we collect, why, who
handles it, and how to have it removed.
The short version. There are no passwords and no
profile. To purchase, you give us an email address; that is how we find
your purchase again. Your card details never reach us. We do not sell your
data, and we do not show ads.
What we collect, and why
- Your email address. Entered when you sign in or purchase.
We keep it in your browser and on our server, next to your plan and your
scan-credit balance, so the app can tell what you have paid for.
- Sign-in codes and sessions. To prove an email address is
yours, we email it a six-digit code. The code is stored only as a hash and is
deleted when used or after 10 minutes. Signing in creates a session that stays
on this device for up to 90 days; only a hash of it is kept on our server, and
signing out deletes it.
- Payment details. We never see or store these. Checkout
happens on a page hosted by Dodo Payments, who take the payment and send us
a confirmation containing your email and what you purchased.
- Tickers and searches. When you type a ticker or a company
name, that text is sent to our server so it can fetch the price data. It is
not linked to your email.
- Images you upload to scan. The image is sent to our
server and on to Anthropic, whose model is asked for one thing: the ticker
and timeframe printed on the chart. We do not store the image. Anthropic
handles it under its own terms (see the links below).
- Usage analytics. We use PostHog, hosted in the EU, to see
which pages and buttons get used. It does not record your screen, and it is
not sent your tickers, your images or your email. It stores an
anonymous identifier in your browser to tell visits apart.
- Technical data. Our host, Cloudflare, processes your IP
address and request details to deliver the site and block abuse. We keep a
short-lived counter per IP address (about two minutes) to limit request
rates.
What we do not do
- We do not sell or rent your data.
- We do not run advertising or ad tracking.
- We do not record your sessions or your screen.
- We never see your card number.
Who else handles data
These providers process data on our behalf, only to run ChartPro:
- Cloudflare — hosting and delivery.
- Resend — sends the sign-in code emails.
Their privacy policy.
- Dodo Payments — payments, tax and receipts, as the
merchant of record. Their privacy policy.
- Anthropic — reading the label off an uploaded chart image.

- PostHog — product analytics.
Their privacy policy.
- Market-data providers (currently Yahoo Finance) — we ask
them for price history for the ticker you typed. They receive the ticker,
not who you are.
What is stored on your device
Your browser keeps your email (so Restore works), your onboarding answers
and your saved watchlist. These stay on your device. Clearing your browser
data removes them; your purchase itself is not lost, because it is tied to your
email on our side.
How long we keep it
We keep your email, plan and credit balance for as long as your purchase is
in effect and for any period we are required to keep purchase records. Price
data is cached on our server for minutes to an hour and holds nothing about
you.
Your choices
You can ask us to show you what we hold about you, correct it, or delete it,
by emailing the address below. We will act on a verified request within 30
days. Deleting your email record means we can no longer restore a purchase for
you, so do this only when you are finished with the service. If you are in the
EU, UK or India you may also have rights under local data-protection law; those
rights are covered by the same email.
Where data goes
Our providers operate internationally, so your data may be processed outside
the country you are in. Analytics is hosted in the EU.
Not investment advice
ChartPro describes what a chart has already done — structure, levels, and
the momentum behind a move. It does not tell you what to trade, or predict
where price goes next. Technical analysis is educational; markets carry risk of
loss.
Children
ChartPro is not directed at children. If you believe a child has given us an
email address, tell us and we will remove it.
Changes
If this policy changes, the date at the top will change with it.
