ChartPro is made by ASGILAB.
The short version. ChartPro does not collect your name, your email, or any personal information. There is no account and no login. A photo you take of a chart is read on your phone first and, in most cases, never leaves it. What does leave your phone is a ticker symbol, so the app can fetch that instrument's real price history — the same as typing "AAPL" into any finance app.
ChartPro reads a chart — a photo, a screenshot, or a ticker you type — and computes support and resistance levels, patterns and momentum from the real price history of that instrument. It is a technical-analysis tool, not a brokerage: it never sees or touches any account you hold anywhere, and it never asks you to sign in to one.
When you scan a chart, the app first tries to read the ticker and timeframe printed on it using on-device text recognition, entirely on your phone. In most cases that is enough, and the photo is never sent anywhere.
If that reading is not confident enough, the photo is sent once to our server and on to Anthropic, whose model is asked to do exactly one thing: read the label off the chart — the ticker and the timeframe, nothing about price or what to do about it. That label is used to fetch the instrument's real data; the photo itself is not stored on our server or by Anthropic, and nothing about the image is kept after that single request completes.
If even that cannot read a label, the app asks you to type or confirm the ticker instead — it never guesses.
Camera. Used only to photograph a chart you point it at, for the reason above. Photo Library. Used only when you choose an existing screenshot to scan. Neither is used for anything else, and the app does not browse your library — you choose one image at a time.
Once an instrument is identified — by scan, by search, by pasting a chart link, or by typing a ticker — the app fetches that instrument's public price history through our own server, which is not personal information: it is the same OHLC data a stock ticker on television shows. Every level, pattern and number you see is then computed on your phone from that data. A short prose summary of those already-computed numbers is written by an Anthropic model, which never sees your photo, your device, or anything about you — only the numbers our engine already produced.
Typing a company name or partial ticker sends that text to our server, which asks a market-data provider for matching instruments. Nothing beyond the text you typed is sent, and it is not linked to you in any way.
If you subscribe, the purchase is handled by Apple and by RevenueCat, who manage subscriptions on our behalf.
RevenueCat receives an anonymous identifier and details of the purchase itself so the app can tell that you have paid. It does not receive your name, your photos, or anything you have scanned or searched.
We never see, and never store, your payment details.
We use PostHog to see basic product usage — which pages and buttons get used, so we know what to improve. It does not know your name or email, and it never sees a chart you have scanned or a ticker you have looked at. There is no advertising and no ad tracking of any kind.
Price history for popular instruments is cached on our server for a short time — minutes to an hour, depending on the timeframe — purely so the app does not have to re-fetch the same public data on every request. This cache holds market data, never anything about you or your device.
ChartPro describes what a chart has already done — structure, levels, and the momentum behind a move. It never recommends what to buy, sell, or hold, at what price, or when. Technical analysis is educational; markets carry risk of loss.
ChartPro is not directed at children and requires no personal information from anyone.
